In the fall of 1998 our company was born with nothing more than some cleaning supplies and an old Volvo station wagon. New England Pro-Maids began as Ocean State House Cleaning when our owner, Anne Aldridge-Baligian, suddenly found herself single-handedly raising 4 small children. Having spent the previous 8 years as a stay-at-home mom, and suddenly finding herself a single-mother, Anne started cleaning houses as a way to support her children.

We've grown from a home-based, one-woman operation to a full-scale cleaning company now gainfully employing over 35 (and counting!) cleaning team members and 4 full-time office staff. Anne has a BS in accounting from Rhode Island College.

In 2010 Anne founded a Cleaning for Heroes a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides no-cost house cleaning services to disabled and elderly veterans nationwide. Cleaning for Heroes was featured in the November 2012 edition of Family Circle magazine.

In 2015, Anne won an "Entrepreneurial Women to Watch" award from the Rhode Island Small Business Journal.
